Pro Kabaddi League Playoffs and Final Return to Pune for a Spectacular Finish

The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has announced that the Season 11 playoffs and final will be held at the Badminton Hall in the Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune, from December 26 to December 29, 2024.

The playoff structure is as follows:

  • Eliminator Stage (December 26): The teams finishing third to sixth in the league standings will compete. The third-placed team will face the sixth-placed team in Eliminator 1, while the fourth-placed team will take on the fifth-placed team in Eliminator 2.
  • Semi-finals (December 27): The winners of the eliminators will advance to the semi-finals. The victor of Eliminator 1 will challenge the league toppers in Semi-final 1, and the winner of Eliminator 2 will compete against the second-placed team in Semi-final 2.
  • Final (December 29): The winners of the semi-finals will vie for the championship title in the grand finale.

Currently, the league is in progress at the Noida Indoor Stadium, with matches scheduled until December 1.

Subsequently, the tournament will move to Pune for matches from December 3 to December 24, leading up to the playoffs.

Anupam Goswami, Business Head of Mashal and League Chairman, expressed enthusiasm about hosting the decisive matches in Pune, stating, “We are thrilled to bring the playoffs and finals to Pune, a city known for its vibrant Kabaddi spirit. This season has been defined by its intense competitiveness and nail-biting finishes, from Hyderabad to Noida. As the league now heads to Pune, we anticipate the same level of thrill and excitement.”

With Maharashtra’s talented players featuring across multiple teams, the passionate Kabaddi community in Pune is expected to create an electrifying atmosphere for these crucial matches that will determine the Season 11 champion.
